Amy Knapp has over twenty years of experience leading various programs that impact the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, recognition, engagement, and retention. Amy is the founder of Peoplebeam and partners with early teams, from strategy to execution, on building their early talent infrastructure.
Most recently, Amy was the head of talent for the Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, Redpoint, helping their portfolio companies build the right sized talent and people programs, along with partnering with the firm on growing their team. Previously, she led talent acquisition at Chegg during its journey through IPO, led human resources and talent at Ning (acquired by Glam Media), recruited for the human resources and benefits teams at Google, and held recruiting and hr roles at a number of pharmaceutical, medical device and retail companies.
Amy is the co-creator of OpenRec, an annual talent leadership conference centered around thought leadership and knowledge sharing in the startup talent community. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from Salem State University and lives in the Boston suburbs with her family.
